All State Team of Post Commanders and Quartermasters

 

Each member of the All State Team of Post Commanders will receive an All State Post Commander’s cap, an All State Post Commander’s Diamond Lapel Pin and $50.00 to help defray expenses of attending the Department Convention.

 

Being cognizant of the important role of the Post Quartermaster in membership, the All State Team of Post Quartermasters who served the Commanders making the All State Team of Post Commanders, will receive an All State Post Quartermaster’s cap, Ruby Lapel Pin and $50.00 to help defray expenses of attending the Department Convention.

 

The All State Post Commanders and Quartermasters must be present at the Department Convention to receive the cash award.  Post Commanders and Quartermasters will be required to personally pick up and sign their own vouchers at the Department Convention.  Vouchers will not be mailed.

 

All State Post Commanders and Quartermasters Requirements

(All deadlines are May 15, 2009 unless specifically noted otherwise)

 

Minimum Requirements:

1 A Post must report over 100% membership as of 15 May 2009 (As recorded at Department Headquarters and compared to National’s 30 June 2008 Membership Report).

2 Community Activity Reports for 1 May 2008 to 31 October 2008 and 1 November 2008 to 30 April 2009 respectively must be received by Department of New York by May 15, 2009. 

3 Post must be Inspected prior to 30 April 2009 and the Inspection Report received by the Department Inspector prior to 16 May 2009.

4 Post must purchase a minimum of 500 poppies from the Department of New York prior to may 15, 2009.

 

Points:

* 500 Points for each member over 100%.

* 500 Points for each new member or reinstated member (annual or life).

* 500 Points for contributing to State Commander’s Special Project

**        500 extra points for submitting to Department the 3 trustee reports even though they are not required for All State status.

 

Total point accumulation will be used to determine which Post Commanders will receive the All State Awards once the minimum requirements have been met.  The total number of All State Awards will be limited to 100 and will be allocated to each Membership Division as shown below.  If not enough Posts qualify in a division, the State Commander may allocate the unused awards to other Divisions.
